Tatiana Maslany, the star of one of our favorite sci-fi television series, is reportedly testing for a leading role in one of our favorite sci-fi film franchises, Star Wars.

The news comes courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter, which scoops that the Canadian actress is being considered for the female lead in Gareth Edwards’s upcoming stand-alone Star Wars film. At this point, little is known about the installment other than that it will bow in theaters on December 16, 2016.
